About Kinder Casa
I’ve loved cooking and baking since I was a child, long before I knew it would become such an important part of my life.
What started as baking for friends and family grew into something much bigger. After moving to Los Angeles, I studied the food industry, worked closely with a Belgian chef at UCLA, and eventually opened my own place, creating menus, baking fresh goods daily, and bringing my creativity to life in the kitchen.
But the real turning point came when I began working with children.
I started introducing them to food in a simple, natural way, ingredients, flavors, and how what we eat supports our bodies. In the beginning, it was all about play. Flour was something to touch and explore, and dough quickly became playdough in their hands. 🙂
Focus was short, curiosity was high, and the kitchen… rarely stayed clean.
But over time, something shifted.
As the children grew, so did their interest and ability to create. What began as playful exploration turned into real baking. They became more focused, more engaged, and most importantly, proud of what they made.
That moment – that sense of joy and accomplishment – is what stayed with me.
And that’s what led me to create TheKinderCasa.
Today, I share that same experience with other children offering a warm, hands-on environment where they can explore, create, and build confidence through baking, all at their own pace, with patience and encouragement.
I offer small, hands-on baking classes for kids ages 7–10, focused on fun, creativity, and making food they’re excited to eat.
